When a class of sixth grade students at a Christian school in Ontario, Canada, learned about World Renew’s Gift Catalogue, they decided to raise funds to buy chickens. The students came up with creative ways to earn money—doing chores, chopping firewood, baking and selling treats, and even helping their grandparents. “The students chose chickens because for only a few dollars, they could help provide a family with a reliable source of nutritious food,” their teacher, Mrs. Dreise, explained. This made for an egg-cellent fundraiser!
